Britney Britney More Britney More Britney Britney More.
On Wednesday 3rd my friend, Canel, and I are going to see Britneys Circus tour. It will be the first show at the O2 so we will be some of the first people to see it in the UK!
Exciting stuff!
The occasion of course called for a Britney themed outfit so naturally we deided to make T-shirts, credit crunch 'n all. Months ago I brainstormed a bunch of T-shirt slogans based on Britney spears, inspired by House of Holland's 'One Trick Pony' collection, (I had just purchased the 'Flick Yer Bean For Agyness Deyn' T-shirt).
These solgans included:
- IF YOU SEEK AMY (my t-shirt)
- THREE CHEERS FOR BRITNEY SPEARS (Canels t-shirt)
- BABY HIT ME I WANT YOU BRITNEY
- EVEN THE QUEERS LOVE BRITNEY SPEARS
- I EXPAND A BIT WHEN I SEE BRIT
- LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE
- LOOK AT BRIT CORRR SHES FIT
- I MUST ADMIT I LOVE BRIT
- COME ON BRIT LETS DO IT
- I HAVE A PERMIT TO SEARCH MISS BRIT
- THROW A FIT IF YOU CANT HAVE BRIT
- BRITNEY? I BOUGHT HER CD
- I'D GO GAY FOR BRITNAAYYY
- CHRIS CROCKER I AGREE LEAVE BRITNEY
- IT FILLS ME WITH GLEE TO SEE BRITNEY
- etc etc etc...... you catch the drift.
We used fabric paint, fabric pens, t shirt transfers and badly sewn on sequins to achieve our final product which I modestly think looks rather good.
The concert is the same day as my last exam so what a way to end. Im so excited.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

i LOVE this
"The best thing for being sad," replied Merlin, beginning to puff and blow, "is to learn something. That's the only thing that never fails. You may grow old and trembling in your anatomies, you may lie awake at night listening to the disorder of your veins, you may miss your only love, you may see the world about you devastated by evil lunatics, or know your honour trampled in the sewers of baser minds. There is only one thing for it then - to learn. Learn why the world wags and what wags it. That is the only thing which the mind can never exhaust, never alienate, never be tortured by, never fear or distrust, and never dream of regretting. Learning is the only thing for you. Look what a lot of things there are to learn."

The Unwanted Presents Of Aunty Elle.
This morning my Elle magazine came in the post with a free gift; an 'Urban Outfitters' bag to be precise. At first I wonder as to why Elle would do something as tacky as to give free gifts with the magazine but then I came to the conclusion that perhaps Urban Outfitters payed them alot of money too, as part of a marketing campaign. My illusions of it being a one off, however, where soon destroyed when, as to my horror, as I was reading the magazine, I read that next week there will be a free top with "4 colours to choose from".
I am disapointed in you Elle. If I wanted such junk acumilating in my house I would go to car boot sales on a weekly basis, but I do not. Infact I only just emptied my room of such rubbish throwing out about 2 bin bags full. I do not need anymore.
You may then say "throw it away", but what about saving the planet? Being "green" and unwasteful? Producing all these things that people will just throw away is far from helping the planet and contradicts the concept of eco-fashion.
I feel sad to say that every week when I read Elle it does seem to be going downhill. Im not sure what it is: the content? the features? the celebrities? but something in my opinion has made it lose its touch. Maybe its that Vogue and i-D get better everyweek but my preference of fashion magazines is changing.

"I have nothing in common with anyone." Same.
Top - Zara
Skirt - Urban Outfitters
Necklace - Topshop
Bag - Topshop
Tights - mytights.com
This is what I wore to the cinema this evening. We went to see Tormented which was really good and lived up to my expectations. Grusome and gory at times but funny as well. A mixture between Saw and Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz could you say?
I have taken a liking to Dimitri Leonidas :)
The necklace I am wearing is probably one of the best buys I have ever made. I have had it for 3 years and I am yet to find an outfit it doesn't go with. It is my lucky necklace which I have been wearing for my exams. Lets hope I do well.

Together forever, never apart. Maybe in distance but never at heart.. UNIQLO.
Yesterday I went to Uniqlo for the first time ever. For some reason I had always felt that if I went in there I would feel out of place or unwelcome. I didnt feel as though I was the target audience, but yesterday I rised above my unfair judgements and entered the store. I was pleasantly surprised by the Japanese version of H&M. Classy but affordable. I wanted some comfy, plain clothes to wear to school as my outfits are either to rememberable to wear too often, or simply inappropriate or impractical. I found this wonderful purple jumper which is comfy and soft and fancied the scarf to go with it. Simplicity, in my mind, was a reflection of a boring personality, but I have been swung and now do believe in the philosophy of things being "simple but effective".
Thank you Uniqlo. I will visit again soon.

Stavros Flatley - Greek Style Dance... & Drum Playing?
So my claim to fame is that Laggi, from Stavros Flatley on BGT, played the drums on my head at school once, because my brother told him too (they are friends), so thats my claim to fame!
Not exactly fashion related but I wanted to tell the world!
