190 Allen Street, New York, NY

So much fun in New York this past weekend/week. We went out for a Wildfox Press day at our Showroom, talked to some magazines and ate cupcakes with pink sparkles. Danger. There was an empty loft next door to the showroom and we ran around inside of it looking out the large windows onto the busy streets underneath us. I love to watch people walk in New York. Everybody always has somewhere to be. Pretty signs hang from dark doorways and it's easy to get drunk at 4pm, thinking about the next day, sleeping in too late on a big white hotel bed. We went to a new restaurant which I will write about later, called Peels (by the same people who did Freeman's).

I hoped for rain the entire time, got a few minutes of light drops on the sidewalk only. We ordered sushi in our room and called room service way too many times. Watched terrible movies on On Demand ( I can't even tell you too embarrassing). Crammed into a cab with new friends and sang showtunes out the windows, the cab driver cringing and driving faster. New York during the day is beautiful and curious. Being in New York at night it is hard to calm down.  Back in LA and happy to be home.
